Michelangelo’s “Teacher” – first episode of the series "Celata Pulchritudo"

It is one of the Vatican Museums’ identifying masterpieces. The Belvedere Torso is one the sculptures that made up the original nucleus of the Papal art collections. It has inspired and fascinated artists of every age, first among whom is Michelangelo who has been described as the Torso’s «disciple». The first episode of «Celata Pulchritudo: The Secrets of the Vatican Museums» — a new multimedia project produced in collaboration between Vatican News and the Vatican Museums — is dedicated to this celebrated work of art.
