PNG bishops: many challenges even after 45 years of independence

Papua New Guinea is marking its Independence Day on Wednesday. On this occasion, the bishops of Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands have issued a message urging greater commitment from those in authority in addressing the serious challenges that people still face 45 years after independence.
